Further to yesterday’s post on the latest attempt by Benny Marotta to carve streets into the Rand Estate, here are the details to sit in (electronically) to next Tuesday’s Open House as well as in person (or electronically) at the Public Meeting in front of Council on Tuesday September 9.
Open House
Is at 5 pm Tuesday Sept 2. Email aimee.alderman@notl.com or call her at 905-468-3266, ext 224 and ask to register for the OPA-06-2025 Rand Open House. You should do so before noon next Tuesday.
Public Meeting
Is at 6 pm, Tuesday Sept 9 in the Council Chambers. You do not need to register to attend that meeting but if you wish to speak at the meeting, which we encourage, contact the Clerk’s Department at clerks@notl.com or call 905-468-3266 by noon on Monday September 8.
As we indicated yesterday, we think this is an outrageous abuse of process by Mr. Marotta and we expect Council to deal with this quickly and send him packing. Your participation and voice is important. We encourage you to register for the Open House next Tuesday and to attend the Council meeting the following Tuesday. And to submit written comments via the Clerk’s Department at the email noted above.
