Important special Council meeting Monday, August 13

Mayor Darte has called a special Council meeting for 6 pm next Monday in Virgil.   The meeting is intended to allow Council to vote on instructing staff to proceed with the heritage designations of all four Rand Estate properties.
Please attend to let Council know they need to finish the job they started, and that they should not be permitting ANY demolition on the Rand Estate until it has been thoroughly assessed.
The special meeting will start at 6 pm, preceding the regular meeting scheduled for 6:30so please be on time. ERA, SORE’s heritage experts, have asked to speak at the special Council meeting.
See you on Monday!

The meeting follows a special meeting of Municipal Heritage Committee called on short notice on August 8.
