OLT to broadcast Marotta Rands subdivision hearing on its YouTube channel

Article posted on April 6, 2024

We are pleased to report that the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) has agreed to broadcast the hearing starting next Tuesday, April 9, on its YouTube channel.

SORE and the Town had earlier asked the Tribunal to hold the hearing in person due to the great public interest in the Rand Estate.  That request was unfortunately denied, however SORE then asked the Tribunal to broadcast the hearing, which it has now agreed to do.

The link to the Tribunal’s YouTube channel is below:

The hearing panel encourages that any observers and participants observe the hearing using the direct link.

The hearing starts next Tuesday, April 9, at 10 am.

Opening statements will be made by counsel for the parties at that time.  We hope you will tune in.  We think you will find the opening statements of the Town and SORE to be interesting.
