In a new front page investigative report dated May 31, 2018, by a team of investigative reporters from The Globe and Mail, a series of nefarious activities which the article intimates were linked to a massive housing development proposal by Solmar Developments, one of the Marotta group companies, is profiled. Solmar representative Maurizio Rogato, who has been the main spokesperson for the Rand Estate proposals by the Marotta group, is specifically mentioned in the article.
